OF MBA APPLICANTS ARE WOMEN
OF MBA APPS COME FROM MILITARY
We need more underrepresented minorities, women, and military personnel in business, but the barriers to higher education are especially high for those groups. Admit.me Access closes the access gap by providing discounted test prep, admissions coaching, careering guidance, and mentoring at scale to these targeted demographics. We believe best in-class support through the admissions process should be accessible to all.
You have to meet the demographic requirement of being either a woman, underrepresented minority (African American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, and/or LatinX), or military personnel (current or former). In addition, you have to be in the application year for an MBA or specialized MS/PhD in a business-related field.
Who is eligible to become an Admit.me Access member?
There are no financial requirements for becoming an Admit.me Access member, however, financial need is a consideration for the Admit.me Fellowship. You will be asked to take any required standardized tests and there is a cost associated with those tests. In addition, you are provided discounts for supplemental admissions services, but there are no obligations for purchasing any services.
Are there any financial requirements?
You can join Admit.me Access through December 31, 2020, however, we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible to take advantage of the resources available to you.
The application for Admit.me Fellows will open in Q1 2021.
What are the deadlines for applying?
For Fellows, the admissions resources are completely free. In addition, Fellows get to learn and grow in this admissions process with a cohort of other Fellows that will hold you accountable and inspire you to make it through the admissions process! In addition, Fellows will be provided with admissions mentors (current and recent MBA grads) as well as professional MBA admissions coaches. See the section on “program offerings?” for more details.
What does the fellows program include?
Very simply, we expect excellence. We want you to have high expectations of yourself and your outcomes and we want you to work hard to achieve your goals. We want you to inspire others in your cohort through your hard work, encouragement and guidance. In addition, we want you to take this very seriously and put in the effort needed to yield and exceptional application. We want admit.me fellows to be the best applicants, students, and leaders in the business community!
What does the program demand of me?
Things happen. We can’t force you to go to school, but we expect you to have made that decision prior to applying because Admit.me Access is for current-year applicants. If you’re not sure, it’s probably best to wait to join Admit.me Access until you are ready.
What if I end up not applying to school?
Put simply, it was requested by our admit.me users. There are clearly very strong programs for this same demographic, but nothing focused on application-year support with best-in-class test prep, admissions and career services companies. We spoke with applicants who experienced multiple programs that provided solid exposure, lots of fun, and networking opportunities, but the applicants remained confused and uncertain about how to execute on the application process. Kofi and Eric have been in the admissions space for 13 yrs. and saw the need so created the Admit.me Access.
Why did you create the program?
Magoosh provides a subscription to their premium service for all Admit.me Fellows and a discount for all Admit.me Access Members.
Admit Advantage provides discounted or free admissions coaching advice from one of their senior admissions consultants who has graduated from a top 10 business school.
Vault provides free access to their career resources, including industry reviews and professional advice.
Who are your partners?
Because they’re dope.
Why are your partners providing these services for free or at deep discounts?
We built this around one thing: helping you navigate the admissions process. We took best-in-class admissions partners and brought them together to help you! We don’t spend money on marketing, branding, nor do we worry about competing against other programs in our space. There are other great organizations out there like Consortium, Forte, Riordan, MLT, Toigo etc. targeting this demographic. We think we are largely complementary to these programs and we welcome any applicants who are currently participating or alumni of these programs.
How is this different than other fellowship programs?
Read the information again (it may be in there). If not, email us: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note, if the answer to your question is on the website, we will make fun of you.
What do I do if I need help or have questions?
What does the Admit.me Access membership include?
We provide you with access to discounted resources such as Magoosh, Vault, and Admit Advantage admissions consulting as well as live school webinars, pre-recorded webinars, the ability to join a peer learning team… and the Admit.me comprehensive curriculum, of course.
